Cam Skattebo has given John Harbaugh plenty to react to since training camp began. A new clip is fueling speculation that the coach’s patience is wearing thin.
Video shared by Polymarket Football shows Skattebo mouthing something toward Harbaugh, who turns back with a visible smirk. The caption read, “John Harbaugh looks like he is starting to get fed up with Cam Skattebo.”

While some fans felt this was way overblown, others reckon Cam was doing too much.
“Belichick would have cut him the minute he saw that stupid backflip stunt,” one fan wrote. “Hopefully Harbaugh grows some balls and does the same.”
Another fan framed the moment as inevitable, pointing to Harbaugh’s track record in Baltimore.
“Cam will do something stupid enough to end up in Harbaugh’s doghouse,” they wrote. “Just ask dozens of former Ravens players… or any Ravens fan that watched the team for the last decade.”
Harbaugh took over as the Giants’ head coach this offseason after 17 seasons leading the Ravens, and he’s already had reason to address Skattebo’s behavior multiple times.
He reacted with amusement rather than anger back in July after Skattebo botched a backflip at Fanatics Fest, joking on a podcast, “My reaction was this: Dude, at least stick it. I mean, land the thing if you’re going to do it, you know?”
That lighthearted tone shifted somewhat last week after Skattebo sparked a fight during practice.

Skattebo caught a pass and slid during a Wednesday session, triggering a confrontation with defensive backs Jevon Holland and Greg Newsome. Harbaugh addressed the incident directly afterward, using an unusual choice of words to describe Skattebo’s energy.
“He got a 15-yard penalty at the end of practice,” Harbaugh said. “Did you see that? Yeah, it’s infectious. It can be infectious the other way, an infectious disease type of thing. We want it to be in a positive way.”
Skattebo enters his second season looking to build on a rookie campaign cut short by a serious ankle injury, one that required surgery after a Week 8 dislocation last October.
He’s since been cleared without structural limitations and expects to handle a significant workload for New York, assuming he can keep his energy pointed in a direction Harbaugh actually wants.
