THE Masked Singer has fans convinced that they know the mystery duo hidden beneath The Croissants costumes after this week’s cliffhanger.

Wednesday’s Season 14 premiere saw a double elimination, but only one contestant was unmasked.

After MLB’s Boston Red Sox player, David “Big Papi” Ortiz, was revealed under the massive Googly Eyes get-up, fans assumed they’d find out the identity of The Croissants, who also got the boot.

However, the episode ended with the studio audience chanting the show’s signature phrase, “Take it off,” while the unknown pair prepared to unveil themselves, but viewers at home never saw their faces.

Fans now have to wait until next week’s episode to learn who performed from within the French pastry disguises.

Although the big reveal has yet to happen, fans online have insisted that reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are the mystery celebs, based on numerous clues.

One supposed giveaway was that the pair kissed at the end of their performance, seemingly hinting that they’re a couple and not a brother-sister or friends act.

Fans – and judge Jenny McCarthy, who guessed that the Chrisley Knows Best stars were behind the masks during the show – also pointed out that their costumes, which featured a ball and chain attached to their ankles, hinted at the twosome’s 2022 incarceration for tax fraud.

Their clue package also appeared to highlight their prison sentences at separate facilities, as well as their fall from stardom, noting they’d spent considerable time apart and had been “cancelled.”

On top of that, viewers believed their Southern accents and them belting out Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock, also teased that the TV stars could be the eliminated contestants.

“Why did masked singer end on a cliffhanger? We all know the croissants are the chrisleys, just send them home already!!!” one person wrote on X.

“They got todd and julie on masked singer. Song and accents made it so obvious,” another suspected.

“Todd Chrisley and his wife singing jailhouse rock in croissant uniforms on the masked singer was not on my 2026 bingo card,” said a third.

“That was my guess before the even started to sing,” a fourth predicted.

Todd and Julie were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May 2025 after spending two years behind bars.

They were convicted of conspiring to defraud banks in the Atlanta, Georgia area out of more than $30 million in loans by submitting false documents.

Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison, while her husband got a 12-year sentence, before their early release.

If The Croissants are, in fact, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality stars, their clue package also revealed that they hoped to break back into the industry after years away.

Ten acts performed on The Masked Singer‘s premiere before host Nick Cannon and judges Jenny, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora.

Despite how things appear on screen, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that the audience isn’t present for the unmaskings and is ushered out of the room at this point.
