This week, she had social media buzzing over what she said on Instagram. Cunningham is rehabbing a season-ending torn MCL that she suffered during the 2025 season. Amid that, she posted a selfie of herself and wrote, “Excited to share some stuff with you guys towards the end of the month.”

She did not allude to what it was. We may have found out what it pertains to through a podcast appearance. During an appearance on her “Show Me Something” podcast, the WNBA star addressed rumors about her lip.

The 29-year-old told her co-host, West Wilson, that she has herpes. Not that type of herpes, but the cold sore version. Cunningham used someone’s ChapStick at the Sophie Cunningham Classic, her basketball showcase.

That will be the last time she ever uses someone else’s Chapstick again.
