Tom Bergeron, who was fired in 2020 from his hosting job, returns in a special way. Former pro and current judge Derek Hough was tasked with choreographing an opening number that paid tribute to the show’s history. Several OG dancers return for the opening, including Alec Mazo, Ashly DelGrosso, Louis van Amstel, Jonathan Roberts, Charlotte Jorgensen, and Edyta Śliwińska. The network plans to pay tribute to former contestants the show has lost over the years.

But perhaps the biggest twist of all is that for the first time ever, the remaining Season 34 contestants have to take the dance floor without their pro partners. They will reportedly dance with former champions for a special number.

The “20th Birthday Party” airs on Tuesday, November 11.

DWTS Star Makes Shocking Drug Addiction Confession

While past and present stars are expected to return for the special, fans won’t see Brooks Nader. She was a contestant on Season 32. Her on-screen partnership with Gleb Savchenko led to a real-life fling that ended badly.

The model recently opened up to Bustle about her ongoing Drυg addiction. She admitted on her reality show in September that she was “micro-dosing” the weight loss medicine GLP-1. However, her addiction has gotten worse since then.

She took more of the controversial weight loss medication ahead of a photo shoot with Maxim magazine because she knew she would be nearly naked on the cover.

“I’m still on it. It’s a crutch for me, too. It’s not healthy. I should get off it; I’ll be honest about that,” she told the outlet. But she credited the weight loss Drυg for helping her modeling career take off.

Brooks Nader reportedly quit Tulane University in New Orleans, Georgia, in 2017 to pursue modeling full-time. But she wasn’t booking any gigs.

“The facts are that when I started GLP-1, my career took off. I’m not saying it’s OK. I’m not saying it’s right,” she said. The DWTS alum added, “I think everybody is different — but I lost 30 pounds, and I booked all the jobs.”

She admitted that she was ashamed of her addiction to the weight loss Drυg but didn’t share plans to stop using it. Her admission was one of the first addressing an addiction to the weight loss Drυg that’s swept through Hollywood in the last few years. Share your reaction in the comments.
