Pittsburgh Steelers star defensive tackle Cam Heyward had a former warning for Antonio Brown, after the latter tagged his ex-teammate in a post about E.J. Johnson, the son of Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson.

Last week, news broke that a warrant was issued for Antonio Brown’s arrest on attempted murder charges. The warrant stems from a May 16 incident at a celebrity boxing match in Miami, where Brown allegedly stole a security guard’s gun and fired it at a man he got into a fight with.

Never one to stay away from stirring the pot on social media, Brown posted photos of Magic and EJ Johnson and asked if Cam Heyward is the son of the Basketball Hall of Famer:

That led to a stern response from Cam Heyward, who told Antonio Brown to let him know when he’s back in the United States:

 

Brown is traveling in the Middle East but is expected to turn himself in to authorities when he returns to the U.S., the Miami Herald reported earlier this week.

After the May 16 incident, Brown took to X/Twiter and claimed that multiple people attempted to jump him and steal his jewelry. Brown said that he was detained by officers but released after they got his side of the story.

If convicted, Antonio Brown faces up to 15 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.

Cam Heyward & Antonio Brown Were Teammates For Eight Years

Heyward was taken 31st overall by the Steelers in 2011, one year after they used a sixth-round pick on Antonio Brown. The pair were teammates from 2011 to ’18, helping the Steelers to five playoff appearances and a trip to the 2016 AFC Championship Game.

The Steelers traded Brown to the Oakland Raiders in 2019 after his behavior and destructive antics became too much to deal with. Brown, of course, never played a snap for the Raiders and was released after his disturbing behavior continued.
