Clip Of Sophie Cunningham Dancing & Shaking It For Her Birthday Is Blowing Up Online [VIDEO]
Sophie Cunningham’s birthday clip is making the rounds.
Sophie Cunningham had a birthday to remember on Sunday, and her Indiana Fever teammates made sure of it.
Cunningham turned 30 the same day the Fever hosted the Atlanta Dream, and Indiana delivered the kind of gift only a team can give.
The Fever overcame an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime, then pulled out a 95-91 win. Afterward, players, including Caitlin Clark, gathered in the locker room to sing happy birthday, presenting Cunningham with a cupcake topped by a lit candle reading “30.”
While all of that was going on, a clip showing Cunnigham dancing to Blanco Brown’s “The Git Up” went viral.
The video shows the Fever guard cutting some serious rug and has been viewed over 1.5 million times.

Is it real? Probably not. But it’s gone viral all the same.

The celebration started well before the final buzzer. Cunningham arrived for the Fever’s usual pregame “fit check” wearing a long-sleeve red, white and blue striped shirt with matching shorts, a fitting choice for a birthday celebrated one day after the team’s earlier road trip.
Indiana has leaned into these tunnel-walk posts all season, and Cunningham’s outfits have become a recurring highlight, drawing comparisons to some of her most talked-about tunnel looks from earlier this year.
On the court, Cunningham logged 33 minutes off the bench, finishing with three points and seven rebounds while posting a plus-8 rating in the win. Those numbers track closely with her production for the year.
She’s averaging 8.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game while shooting a career-best 45.2% from three-point range. She continues to provide energy for a Fever team fighting to lock down playoff positioning.
Indiana improved to 23-12 on the season with the win, keeping the club in the mix for a top-three seed with nine games remaining. The Fever will continue their road trip on Tuesday against the Toronto Tempo before returning home.

Turning 30 caps a season that’s brought Cunningham more national attention than any other point in her eight-year WNBA career.
She’s now playing her second season in Indiana after being acquired in an offseason trade. Her pregame fashion choices have become as much a talking point as her play on the floor.
Cunningham enters the stretch run of the 2026 season as one of the WNBA’s most recognizable bench players, known for her physical style of play, her connection with Clark, and her willingness to speak her mind off the court.
For at least one night, though, the spotlight belonged to a cupcake, a candle, and a locker room full of teammates singing along.
