Actress Sydney Sweeney appeared at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday and completely stole the show from the racers.

Everybody wanted to be seen with the Hollywood star. Even Indiana Fever star guard Sophie Cunningham was able to sneak in a picture with her.

Sweeney got racing fans’ hearts racing on Sunday before the green flag was waved at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.

The actress dressed up for the occasion and arrived in a racing jacket, tiny leather shorts, a white top, and boots while talking to the NASCAR drivers.

She wasn’t there just to look cute; she had a job to do.

Sydney Sweeney came out on the stage holding a checkered flag and spoke to the racers about what winning would mean for their legacies.

“Most days, this checkered flag means victory, but today, it means something more,” she said, per AOL.

“A dream realized, a life changed, a name that will never be forgotten. In my new film ‘Christy,’ I play a warrior. A fighter who refused to quit. ‘Christy’ is about grit, about determination – the same spirit that it takes to make it to the Championship Four.

“So, to our future champion, remember what this flag stands for. You’re not just another driver, you’re a NASCAR champion.”

Sydney Sweeney fired up the crowd at the Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, but she has been a very busy girl for the past week.

Sweeney went braless in a thin silver gown for Variety’s 2025 Power of Women ceremony in Los Angeles.

The Euphoria star wore a racy Christian Cowan x Elias Matso gown to the event that showed off her hourglass frame as well as her boobs. She left little to the imagination, as that seemed to be her plan for the event.

Despite some of the previous comments about her looks, Sweeney is letting the world know that she will not be bullied and won’t shy away from pushing the envelope when it comes to fashion.

Aside from her outfit, Sydney spoke about female empowerment, particularly in her latest role as professional boxer Christy Martin in Christy.

“I know what it feels like to be underestimated—to have people define you before you’ve had a chance to define yourself,” Sydney said during the ceremony. “I know what it feels like to have to prove that you deserve to be here.”

Sweeney was also said to have gotten into a public screaming match with her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, as the two linked up on Saturday night in Santa Monica. According to reports, they were spotted in a blacked-out vehicle together, before Sydney blew up on Jonathan and yelled at him, “I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.”

Hopefully, Sunday’s race helped take her mind off whatever relationship drama she appears to be dealing with at the moment.
