Former NBA Star Drops Brutal Luka Doncic Take After LeBron James Era
Ex-NBA veteran is not a fan of Luka.
With LeBron James going back to play in the East, the Los Angeles Lakers are now Luka Doncic’s team.
This would be the first time since his days in a Dallas Mavericks uniform that Doncic would not share the spotlight with another star on a roster. Truth be told, LeBron, despite his advancing age, was the main draw in LA during his tenure there.
Now, the team’s front office is relying on Luka to deliver this team to a championship. But despite all of his accolades, not everybody is a fan of Doncic’s game.
Ex-NBA Star Calls Luka Doncic “Arrogant”

The Slovenian-born guard is arguably one of the best players in the world. He knows how to facilitate an offense with ease. However, the statistics show that he’s doing too much on offense, holding the ball more on each possession than other players in the league do each night.
And those traits of the Lakers’ current superstar did not escape the eyes of former 16-year pro, Al Harrington. In a recent appearance on To The Baha Show, Harrington did not mince his words about Doncic and lamented that the 27-year-old did not adjust his old habits while playing alongside LeBron James.
“I think at this point, it ain’t all about points… You can get a lot of points and still be a bad player … I think with (Luka Doncic), can he get with somebody that can develop his whole game?” Harrington said.
“You would think that playing with LeBron James and seeing his habits and all that kind of s**t would overall make (Luka Doncic) better. I personally think that probably did not happen because, one, he’s arrogant,” he added.
Those are some strong words coming from the ex-NBA star. And he’s not alone in criticizing Luka. Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks recently appeared on Twitch and said that Doncic would need to average “40 points per game” for the Lakers to be competitive next season.
All The Pressure In The World On Luka’s Shoulders

There was a time when Doncic was considered the best of his draft class. For years, it was clear that he should have gone number one in the 2018 draft. Fast forward to today, and people can argue that there’s no clear answer to that anymore.
OKC’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is often labeled as the best to come out in 2018. Some are even lobbying for Jalen Brunson’s name to be included over Doncic.
With LeBron gone, it’s now or never for Luka. The pressure is all on him because he’s the lone star in La La Land.
Well, unless LA finds a way to improve their roster by trading for one of Doncic’s closest friends.
