Woman Seen Outside Nancy Guthrie’s Home Has Now Been Identified

Influencer identified after controversy outside missing grandmother’s home

A woman who faced backlash outside the home of Nancy Guthrie has been identified as a social media influencer known as Kiki.

Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Savannah Guthrie, is still missing. Police and community members are continuing the search. While her family hopes for her safe return, another controversy started outside her home in Tucson.

An investigative reporter who goes by JLR Investigates shared a photo on X. The image showed a woman and a cameraman standing outside the house. “A woman & her cameraman just arrived to Nancy Guthrie’s home,” he wrote. The image led to criticism.

The New York Post also shared video of what it called a “ghoulish” scene outside the home. The outlet reported that streamers had gathered at the property and created what it described as a grim spectacle nearly a month after the 84-year-old grandmother disappeared.

Influencer Responds As Critics Speak Out

Online users soon identified the woman in the photo as Kiki, a social media influencer. She took to X to defend her actions and push back against claims that she staged a photoshoot.

“I would have responded here sooner, but I had to dust off this X account considering majority of ppl my age dont use X anymore,” she wrote.

She denied that she posed for glamour shots outside the home. “ANYWAYS…this was not a photoshoot, this was a video shoot for my own channel & the photos you see being taken are for the channel thumbnail…” she added.

Kiki also addressed JLR directly. “I have to say thank you JLR. You successfully turned all the attention from nancy guthrie & diverted it to me! I think the FBI would applaud you for your job well done! While you were focusing all your attention me, I was reporting the facts & raising awareness in my own video,” she wrote.

Still, many people criticized her outfit and decision to film at the home during an active missing persons case.

One person wrote, “Seems like odd outfits to be wearing.”

Another added, “Um, they do not appear to be serious news people.”

As authorities continue the search for Nancy Guthrie, the focus now returns to the investigation and her family’s hope for answers.
