Well, that escalated fast, sort of. Terry Bradshaw took a shot. Aaron Rodgers just smiled, nodded, and cracked a joke. No trash talk. No heat. Just Rodgers being Rodgers.
After Bradshaw torched Rodgers’ move to the Steelers as “a joke” and told him to “stay in California” and “chew on bark,” many expected a tough response. Instead, Rodgers shrugged and smiled when asked about the Hall of Famer’s rant.

Speaking to NFL Network on Saturday, Rodgers didn’t bite. He even paid respect to Bradshaw, despite the jab.
“I whisper to the gods every single day,” Rodgers said, clearly poking fun at his own spiritual side. “I’ve known Terry for a long time, being a part of Fox. Terry’s a legend. He’s had a legendary career in the media… but Terry, like a lot of people, doesn’t know me.”
Rodgers, at 41, recently signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh after months of speculation. Bradshaw, who won four Super Bowls with the Steelers, didn’t hold back when the topic came up earlier this year.
“What are you gonna do? Bring him in for one year? Are you kidding me?” Bradshaw said in May. “It’s a joke… that guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”
It was a not-so-subtle jab at Rodgers’ off-field interests, including his now-famous darkness retreats and non-traditional wellness routines.
But instead of throwing shade back, Rodgers went the other way.
“I’d love to get to know Terry on a deeper level,” he said. “If he gave me a chance, we’d probably get along. Maybe we can go chew some bark or whatever the hell he’s talking about together.”
Rodgers made it clear he respects the game and those who came before him.
“I’ve got nothing but the utmost amount of respect and deference for what Terry and the other greats have done,” he said. “We’re standing on the backs of those guys.”
The four-time MVP also shouted out legends like Bart Starr, Vince Lombardi, Joe Montana, and Brett Favre.
“They laid the foundation,” Rodgers said. “Because of how they played and carried themselves, we get to do this. We get to live this life and play this game.”
No war of words. No headline-making response. Just a quarterback with thick skin and a sense of humor.
Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate
Brittney Griner (Photo via Twitter)
WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.
The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.
The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”
However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.
It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.
Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”
This is the first time I’ve heard Brittney Griner speak! 🤨

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.
The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.
Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.
This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
