Angel Reese cannot catch a break in her third season in the WNBA. Much of the discourse surrounding her is the same as it was in year two and her rookie campaign.
Not helping matters is her often erratic play on the court. Reese faced backlash and intense jokes after missing a potential game-winning putback layup at the buzzer. The moment caught Caitlin Clark laughing at her. It would ultimately lead to the Atlanta Dream’s 95-91 overtime loss to the Indiana Fever.
Angel Reese’s struggle with finishing layups is a well-documented efficiency issue. Because of the most recent misses, social media is having fun at her expense again.
Angel Reese Parody Video Goes Viral

A viral comedy skit focused on WNBA star Angel Reese is currently causing an absolute frenzy online. Despite how obviously fake it is, it is spreading around X like wildfire.
An X user uploaded the video titled “A day in the life of Angel Reese.” The parody presents a series of exaggerated everyday mishaps.
The video starts with Angel Reese failing to drink water while in bed. It resulted in her spilling it all over herself. A second video showed her missing the trash can after throwing a banana peel at it. It should be noted that Angel Reese’s eyes were made to look disturbingly terrible throughout the video.
Furthermore, pouring coffee and cereal results in noticeable spills. As of this writing, the video has accumulated more than 8.8 million views.
Social Media Erupted Over The Video

As with anything involving Angel Reese, the latest video had comments from both supporters and critics.
“I can’t believe how many people are getting triggered by this 🤣,” the creator of the video said.
Even though the video is fake, many supporters blasted the creator over the derogatory video.
“genuinely only brainless husks of a human would laugh at this,” one person wrote.
“Haters. All you people do is hate, and it’s ugly,” a second person added.
“Ai has given people who are not funny the gift of being even less funny,” a third person added.
“Poisoning a town’s local water supply just to hate on Angel is a new level of pathetic,” one final person commented.
In the meantime, Reese continues to put up numbers on the court. During the 2026 WNBA regular season with the Atlanta Dream, Reese has played 34 games. She has averaged 15.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. Reese has recorded 24 double-doubles in the 2026 WNBA regular season so far.
