Angel Reese Has Zero Regrets About Her Bold Bikini Selfie [PHOTO]
Reese has a clear message.
Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark handle social media in totally different ways. Reese is super active online, regularly giving fans a peek into her everyday life. Clark, on the other hand, rarely posts and mostly stays off social platforms altogether.
Reese shares a bit of everything, from pregame tunnel fits and raw postgame reactions to swimsuit snaps. And despite the online noise, she made it clear she isn’t changing for anyone.
The star forward insists she should be able to post whatever photos she wants without people immediately sexualizing her.
Reese Defends Her Right To Post What She Wants

Reese has made her position clear. She does not want people to sexualize her, but she also does not want that concern to dictate what she posts on Instagram or other social media.

“I’m a beautiful woman, I got a nice body, and I work hard for it. If I want to post a picture in my bikini, I should be able to without being sexualized,” Reese said.
She also pointed to the pressure that comes with becoming a major sports star.
“I think once you reach a certain level of stardom, people forget that you’re a 22-year-old girl.”

Reese has a large following across social media, and that brings plenty of attention to whatever she shares. On the court, she sportsup with 16.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game for the Atlanta Dream during the 2026 WNBA season, while off it, her swimsuit photos can draw both support and criticism.
Still, Reese does not appear interested in apologizing for posting them. She believes she can celebrate her appearance while setting boundaries over how others respond to her.
There is also a clear contrast between Reese and Clark. Reese embraces social media and regularly interacts with the platform. Clark rarely posts and prefers to stay away from the spotlight that social media can bring.
Neither approach makes one player right or wrong. They simply reflect different personalities and choices.
For Reese, however, speaking up matters. She wants fans to understand that posting a bikini photo does not give others permission to sexualize her.
At the same time, her growing profile means criticism will likely continue. Reese knows that comes with being one of the most recognizable young stars in women’s basketball.
