Three months after millions tuned in to the wedding, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist called it quits. While the breakup was friendly at first, that didn’t last long, either. He detailed the split in his 2025 memoir, Golden Years: What I’ve Learned From Love, Loss, and Reality TV. He placed the blame mostly at Theresa’s feet, even claiming that his cancer diagnosis came between them.

The Bachelor Nation star was diagnosed with the blood cancer Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia in 2024, shortly after marrying Theresa. He went public with the news later that year. While the cancer is incurable, Gerry Turner has been doing well, living his best life.

He got engaged to Lana Sutton in October 2025 after a few months of dating. Gerry Turner sold his beloved lake house in December and has been on the hunt for a new house. He took to social media to reveal that he finally found his dream house with his fiancée.

“Ther[e] have been many great days over the last 12 months traveling, bonding families, building a loving and fun relationship with Lana. But yesterday was one of the very best. Finding our perfect home was an arduous journey. So gratifying to close on our new home together,” Gerry Turner, Instagram.

Details On Nearly $1 Million Home

Gerry Turner shared more details about the stunning two-story home with TMZ. The sprawling 4,455-square-foot home has five bathrooms and five bedrooms.

The outlet reported that the house boasts a fireplace, a massive game room, and a huge bathroom in the main bedroom. The house reportedly sold for nearly $1 million. Gerry Turner said the home is split 50/50 with his fiancée.
