Seven years in, and Molly McGrath is still writing the kind of love story that puts rom-coms to shame. The longtime ESPN reporter isn’t just winning over sports fans with her sideline reporting anymore. This week, she and husband Max Dorsch celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, and the internet came out in full force to cheer them on.
McGrath, who’s built a rock-solid reputation as one of college football’s top voices, gave fans a peek into her personal life with a touching anniversary tribute.
Her message? Simple, honest, and full of heart: “7 years my only regret is not falling in love sooner,” she wrote on Instagram. “A lifetime with you just isn’t enough.”

The post quickly lit up with love from fans and followers alike.
“Aww congratulations! Happy anniversary,” one wrote.
Another called them a “gorgeous couple” and wished them “many great adventures together.”
McGrath, who joined ESPN in 2016 after stints with Fox Sports and NESN, is no stranger to the spotlight. She’s been a familiar face on the sidelines of college football and basketball games, as well as XFL broadcasts on ABC. But even with her packed schedule, she always makes time for family.
Back in 2023, Molly McGrath shared another heartfelt post. “Two amazing children, one beautiful home, and lots of dancing along the way,” she captioned alongside a photo of her and Dorsch. That mix of authenticity and warmth is what fans love about her, on and off camera.
The couple has clearly built something special. And people noticed. “Congrats! Beautiful,” one fan commented this week. Others echoed the same vibe, filling her feed with heartfelt wishes.
McGrath’s journey from production assistant to one of ESPN’s most respected sideline reporters is impressive on its own. But it’s the way she balances that with her life off the field that really sticks with people.
As the offseason rolls along, McGrath has another win to celebrate, this one far from the gridiron. And judging by the outpouring of love she received, it’s clear fans are rooting for this team just as hard as any on the field.
