The internet loves nothing more than playful banter, and Durant’s interactions with sports host Kay Adams have seemingly gone to the next step. Durant is again causing a stir online, and this time it’s not just for his basketball skills.
The Houston Rockets star went viral after an interview with Kay Adams took a flirty turn, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.
A one-minute clip of their interaction online showed Kevin Durant seemingly shooting his shot when he invited Adams to Houston and to a game.
Adams, who just recently almost congratulated Shaun Alexander on having sex on her show, immediately shook her head no, but she had a reason.
Kay stated she had come to one of his games before, and Durant, who was hurt, didn’t even bother to wave at her. Durant made it clear that he had no clue she was there until the following week.

Durant, who landed in Houston this offseason as the centerpiece of a historic, record-setting seven-team trade, still tried his best to get her to Houston.

The Rockets landed Durant just before June’s 2025 NBA Draft. The Suns traded him to Houston in a seven-team deal that sent Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, 2025 draftees Khaman Maluach, Rasheer Fleming, and Koby Brea, and a pair of future second-round draft picks to Phoenix.
The Phoenix Suns had NBA championship aspirations when they traded for Kevin Durant in 2023, but injuries ensured that they never materialized.
Houston is Durant’s fifth team, and it might be his most talented one aside from his years in Golden State.
With players like Sengun, Amen Thompson, Reed Sheppard, and Jabari Smith Jr., the sky is the limit for this team.
