Kobe Bryant’s nephew, Jett Washington, has committed to a college football program and will look to continue his uncle’s legacy following the former NBA superstar’s passing in 2020.
Washington, a highly rated safety in ESPN’s class of 2026 and a 247Sports five-star recruit, has announced that he will be playing for Oregon. This makes him the Ducks’ highest-ranked defensive player for said class.
Washington is also the No. 22-ranked safety in the entire class.
“I have that great time with [Oregon defensive backs coach Chris Hampton] and the coaching staff,” he told ESPN. “I loved the way they treated me out there. My relationship with them has been going the right way ever since I started talking to them.”
The 17-year-old, who stands at 6ft 5in and weighs 210 pounds, is heading into his final season for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, having helped the team win a state championship with 38 tackles and five interceptions as a junior.

Jett Washington had no choice but to be athletic. Kobe Bryant is his uncle, but his father, Jerrod Washington, was a running back at Virginia before being drafted by the New England Patriots in 1994. His mother, Sharia Washington, Kobe’s oldest sister, also played volleyball at Temple.
“Jett was Kobe’s guy,” Washington’s father said. “Kobe used to tell me, ‘I need him every summer to come work with me.’ He would give Jett words of wisdom. Anytime Jett would play in something, he’d send his uncle a clip, and Kobe would make a comment. Kobe would send him back emojis or tell him to make this adjustment or that adjustment. They were close.”
The teenager is a stud on the basketball court, too, which is no surprise, also leading Bishop Gorman to back-to-back state championships.
The youngster was close to both Kobe and his daughter Gianna, who was also killed in that tragic helicopter crash in 2020.
He wears the No. 2 as a basketball player in his cousin’s honor.
Social Media Is Sending Their Prayers To Clint Eastwood Today

Clint Eastwood turned 95 recently, but it hasn’t been an easy year for the legendary actor and director.
On Tuesday, fans across the country poured out messages of support as news spread about his recent struggles. Eastwood has been mourning the sudden death of his longtime partner, Christina Sandera, who passed away from a heart attack earlier this year.
The Hollywood icon has kept a low profile since her passing. For fans who’ve followed his career for decades, seeing Eastwood go through this personal loss has struck a chord. Though the actor has rarely been seen in public in recent months, his son Scott Eastwood shared a welcome update that gave many people a reason to breathe a little easier.

Scott Eastwood, in a recent interview, reassured fans that his father is holding up. “He’s doing good,” he said. “He’s a survivor, a trouper. He was born coming out of the Great Depression, and then he was young during World War II. He saw a lot of struggle.” That perspective seems to be carrying Eastwood through yet another chapter of hardship.
Supporters didn’t hesitate to show their love. Social media lit up with tributes, memories, and heartfelt messages. Many highlighted not only his contributions to film but also his resilience as a person.
“There are literally hundreds of reasons why a man doesn’t get better with age,” one fan posted on X.
Another fan commented, “HE IS NEVER GONNA STOP!!!!”
Another fan chimed in, “I hope he blesses us with his presence for many more years!”
Photographs from December 2018 show Eastwood attending the premiere of The Mule with Sandera by his side. The two had been together for years, and her sudden loss clearly left a mark on him. Though the grief remains, Eastwood isn’t ready to slow down completely. In an interview with Kurier on May 30, he reflected on aging with intent. “There’s no reason why a man can’t get better with age,” he said. “And I have much more experience today. Sure, there are directors who lose their touch at a certain age, but I’m not one of them.”
Clint Eastwood, who has eight children- Laurie, Kimber, Alison, Francesca, Kyle, Kathryn, Scott and Morgan- continues to lean on family during this time. For fans, the hope is simple: that he keeps creating, keeps going, and, most of all, keeps finding strength in the days ahead.

Within hours, view counts surged and timelines erupted with fierce arguments and stunned reactions. Supporters called it historic. Critics demanded proof. One episode. One name.
