Former NFL head team physician David J. Chao, known online as ProFootballDoc, analyzed Kyler Murray’s scary head injury.
Initially, the prominent medical expert reviewed the live television footage showing Murray taking a severe blow. Furthermore, he immediately identified specific neurological warning signs after the Minnesota quarterback collapsed onto the turf.
Chao pointed out that Murray displayed a very obvious fencing response posture with his hand. He explained that a stiff arm or a clenched fist is a definitive indicator of a concussion.

Fortunately, Kyler Murray eventually stood up and walked off the field under his own power. However, he went straight to the locker room and was officially ruled out with a concussion. Backup quarterback Carson Wentz entered the game to replace him under center.
