Golf legend Tiger Woods wishes he could go back in time to last Friday and do everything differently. That way, his name wouldn’t be dominating the headlines in the worst way possible.

He was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence with property damage, as well as refusal to submit to a lawful test, and was taken to the Martin County Jail. Woods was released from custody roughly eight hours later.

According to a police report obtained by Page Six, authorities claimed that the golfer was holding “two white pills” inside his “left side pant pocket” that were later “revealed to be hydrocodone.” Because he is dominating the headlines, everything and everyone connected to him in some form is being brought up. That includes the women he used to deal with.

Woods’ ex-girlfriend, Kristin Smith, publicly spoke out following his arrest this week. She made a plea for privacy since many were invoking her name in the situation.

Smith does not want to be “dragged” into Tiger Woods’ mess. “Regarding recent events and my past, I have moved forward, and being dragged back into these moments and untrue narratives is triggering,” she wrote.

“Beyond that, after traumatic unrelated incidents over the last couple of years, I don’t handle being unexpectedly approached or confronted well, and it can be deeply unsettling for me.”

Woods and Smith dated in 2016, splitting before his 2017 DUI arrest.

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.

‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’

Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.

She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best

It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.

Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.

Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’

She told how her health scare has changed her outlook and said she has been seeking comfort from Davina.
