ESPN’s Adam Schefter quickly became a talking point on X/Twitter in the hours leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, and it had nothing to do with his work as an insider.

Like every other top NFL reporter/insider, Adam Schefter has an awfully busy weekend ahead of him with the draft kicking off in Green Bay tonight. While ecstatic fans refresh their timeline for updates from Schefter, others are questioning his outfit of choice for tonight’s festivities.

As you can see in the photo below, Schefter has decided to wear a standard suit, but with a twist: He’s got a hoodie over top of the dress shirt and his tie:

Social media had a field day poking fun at Schefter’s unique outfit of choice:

“Most ridiculous outfit of the 2025 Draft might belong to Schefter,” wrote the BetMGM sportsbook.

“we can’t let adam schefter get away with this fit. hoodie under the jacket is absolutely preposterous,” said a user.

“You don’t do the tie AND sweatshirt underneath the sports jacket, @AdamSchefter . One or the other…not both. It’s a big day for you…let’s get it together,” wrote another.

“Andrew Whitworth and Adam Schefter need jail time for wearing a rhoback hoodie underneath a blazer. it’s just not right man,” said a fan.

“Who told Adam Schefter this was a good look?” another asked.

“What is Adam Schefter wearing?? Is he cold?? 🤨,” a fan asked.

It’s cloudy in Green Bay this evening, and weather reports say there are 11 KM/H winds. So let’s not be too hard on Schefter, who ought to make himself as comfortable as possible since he’ll be working tirelessly with little sleep over the next few days.

The Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and are expected to use it on Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward.
