It was after ESPN highlighted her anxious reaction in the stands.

As a result of Louisville scoring a touchdown to threaten that lead, the broadcast cameraman zoomed in on Smith. She was wearing a light blue top and holding a phone above her head with a deeply concerned expression.

In addition, an Instagram page believed to belong to Sara M. Smith was found. The bio listed an Ole Miss alum from Knoxville, according to later write-ups.
Sara made the quick decision to lock down her Instagram profile to stop social media from bombarding her. It is currently unknown how many people followed her before she was able to stop the onslaught of followers.
