WNBA star Sophie Cunningham is drawing extra attention after joining the Indiana Fever, where she’ll team up with Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark.

A 2019 second-round pick, Cunningham spent her first six seasons with the Phoenix Mercury, contributing as both a starter and a key reserve. She has also played professionally in Australia.

Given her experience in the pros, Cunningham should have little trouble fitting into the Fever setup. When she spoke to reporters after the trade, the 28-year-old implied she would not have any difficulty adjusting and building chemistry with her new teammates.

With the Missouri native around a month away from her Indiana debut, she’s making the most of what’s left of her time off. As such, she took to Instagram this Thursday to share a few photos of herself soaking in some sun on the beach in a bikini.
