It’s been an eventful past few months for the James family, especially their younger son, Bryce James. Recently, he turned heads as he walked across the stage to receive his high school diploma after committing his future with the University of Arizona. We are all aware of how close-knit the James family is. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is very emotional and protective of his family; in fact, the same can be said for his better half, Savannah James. Her love and appreciation for her kids were on display when Bryce James made waves on the national scene.

This was a proud moment for his parents, who took it to social media to celebrate this feat. Now, as Bryce turns 18, his mother has taken it to Instagram to shower her love on him. Savannah posted a beautiful carousel on IG that featured pictures of Bryce all the way from his childhood to a few special moments the mother and son duo shared over time. “18 is CRAAAAAAZZYY!!! Happiest Birthday, Bryce Maximus!!” Savannah captioned the wholesome post as she expressed her feelings on her son’s 18th birthday.

It’s safe to say the mother of three was quite excited for her younger son’s special day. Meanwhile, Bryce also reciprocated his feelings as he commented with hearts on his mother’s post. However, this wasn’t the first time Savannah let her huge social media following have a sneak peek at her life. LeBron’s wife, who’s a podcaster, mother, and businesswoman, never misses an opportunity to showcase her love for her family. She can always be spotted cheering for her children’s achievements, no matter how big or small they may seem.

Savannah James is pretty excited for Bryce’s 18th birthday. While it’s only normal for a mother to express her feelings about her kid, there’s another good reason for Savannah to be so happy about. You see, just two years ago, Savannah and LeBron James saw their oldest son, Bronny, leave for college. The Los Angeles Lakers star joined the Akron Hammer before eventually getting drafted by his father’s team. Now, it’s a new James’ turn to shine under the college lights, Bryce. However, things are a bit different for Savannah and LeBron this time around.

Why? You might ask. During a segment of her podcast ‘Everybody’s Crazy,‘ Savannah made a confession about her son. When asked about what the craziest good thing that happened to her recently, she replied, “It wasn’t to me, but here I am being such a mom. So, my middle son, Bryce, signed to go to college out of state. That was the craziest good thing because he was the first. I mean, his brother went to college, but he went down the street.” James said. LeBron’s wife pointed out how Bryce is the first to go to college outside the state in the James family.

While it’s a good thing for Bryce, his mother misses him, and that’s a reason why she’s so excited for his birthday. The 6-foot-4 guard was a four-star prospect by ESPN, while 247Sports placed him as the 47th shooting guard in the 2025 class. Committing to Arizona was a major move for Bryce’s basketball career, as he continues to pave his own path in the hoops world. The shooting guard is expected to achieve great heights with the Wildcats, as he aims to join his brother and father in the league someday.
