Pawn Stars star Rick Harrison just tied the knot while he was mourning a devastating loss. So, what was his serious heartbreak, and is the marriage healing him? Moreover, was this the right time to move on so quickly? Keep reading for all of the details.
Rick Harrison Married Amid Tragic Loss
Since 2009, there have been twenty-three seasons of Pawn Stars that have aired. It has become a fan favorite revolving around the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a family business where the Harrisons take pride in evaluating historical pieces for purchase and ultimate resale. Furthermore, viewers have fun with the educational aspect, feeling like they are not just watching reality television but learning tidbits as well. Rick Harrison spent a lot of time trying to get the show underway, and it finally premiered on the History Channel in 2009. Season 24 is set to premiere on January 7th, 2026, with ten episodes ready to roll.

That being said, viewers will likely see Rick’s romance with Angie Polushkin, eighteen years his junior. The two just tied the knot on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, days ahead of the show’s premiere. However, the nuptials came just two months after Rick suffered a tragic loss. His mother, Joanne, passed away on November 5th, 2025. She was only eighty-five while Rick’s son, Adam, passed away less than two years ago on January 19th, 2024. He was 39 when he died from a drug overdose, and it broke his family’s hearts.
Fortunately, Rick Harrison seems to have found peace and happiness despite all of the trauma in his life. He first met Angie, a nurse, in early 2024 and then proposed twice. The first time was in the living room, but his daughters shamed him for that. So, the Pawn Stars leader decided to try again and make it more romantic. When it came to the wedding, Elvis was in attendance, and they dined at Rick’s very own eatery. It looks like this was the perfect day for the couple and brought a smile to Rick’s face.
Love To The Couple
Pawn Stars fans and viewers were thrilled for Rick Harrison and Angie Polushkin after they saw the wedding announcement. They loved seeing him so happy, and the two looked like they had found peace and so much happiness:
Congratulations Rick the love warrior ! God bless you !
Congratulations Rick ..God bless your family
Congrats 🍾🎈 to you both on your new life together 🙏🏻
Some felt that Angie was just in this for the money, as Rick had been married three times prior. They also hoped that he got a prenup to secure what he has. However, others believed he deserved nothing but the best, especially after the heartbreak he had endured.
