Cameras Caught DiJonai Carrington Reacting To Caitlin Clark Before An Unexpected Turn Of Events [VIDEO]

Chicago Sky’s DiJonai Carrington just couldn’t keep her hands and demeanor down whenever pitted against the Indiana Fever this season. She wants her presence to be felt, especially on the defensive end.
First, it was Sophie Cunningham who received a devastating shot to the face during a breakaway layup. Now, Carrington has set her eyes on Fever star guard Caitlin Clark when the Chicago Sky clashed with the Indiana Fever in Chicago on Sunday.

The Sky-Fever game was close in the first half. The two teams exchanged shots, and fans inside the arena could feel the intensity and the magnitude of the game. Clearly, there’s some history between the two teams.
With a little more than six minutes remaining in the first half, Clark sank a contested three-pointer over Carrington. As the Fever guard was backpedaling to the other side of the court, the controversial Carrington intentionally bumped Clark on her way to their side of the basket.
Was the bump warranted? While fans expect competition, Carrington’s attempt at intimidation fell flat in the eyes of WNBA fans.
“Just her usual ‘trying to stay relevant behavior.’ At least she knows who brings the clicks and views,” a fan said on X.
Another blatantly commented, “People want to say she’s (DiJonai Carrington) unpopular because of race. No, she’s unpopular because of her attitude, lack of humility, and bad sportsmanship.”
Fever came out on top and humbled the Sky, 113 to 90. Caitlin Clark was unbothered by Carrington’s antics as she finished the game with 37 points on an 8-for-12 clip from downtown.

It’s not just Carrington who made headlines in the Sky-Fever game. Her teammate, Natasha Cloud, went toe-to-toe verbally against Enes Kanter Freedom near the sidelines.
Cloud was reportedly furious with Freedom, resulting in a brief verbal altercation between them. Fair or not, the former NBA pro was quickly escorted out by arena security. He received some boos and some scattered cheers as he headed towards the tunnel.
