Fox News’ Jesse Watters BREAKS RANKS With Rare Compliment For Abdul El-Sayed

Despite an argumentative interview between the two rivals, conservative host Jesse Watters showered Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed with a compliment after the fact.

During the Fox News broadcast of Jesse Watters Primetime on August 24, the 48-year-old host exchanged combative remarks with his guest, El-Sayed, 41. The two traded insults and personal attacks as they discussed ICE (U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement) before talking about President Donald Trump’s ongoing war against Iran. The lengthy and heated interview ended in a stalemate, without coming to an agreement.

After all the snarky comebacks and snide quips thrown at each other, El-Sayed earned the host’s respect the following day. This came after Watters went on a sexist rant against women in power.

On the August 25 broadcast of The Five on the same network, Watters admitted he liked the politician, which caught his co-hosts by surprise. He still refused to endorse his rival for the U.S. Senate seat in Michigan.

Watters confessed, “In this case, I thought the interview was fine,” prompting Greg Gutfeld, 61, and Dana Perino, 54, to burst into hysterics.

Watters went on, “He’s a compelling, confident guy, kind of a guy’s guy, but I don’t trust him.

“You know, I like him. I don’t want to like him. I like him for some stupid reason! But he’s not right for Michigan!” he closed.

On the same day, back on his Fox News show, Watters repeated his compliments to his viewers and said with a smile, “I actually like Abdul. I probably shouldn’t like him, but I do.”

He pointed out his love/hate relationship with the nominee and shared, “I think he would be a terrible senator, and he’s a little bit of a lunatic. But at least he’s not your typical stiff.”

During their heated argument, the two ended up in a shouting match as one tried to outdo the other.

Watters fumed, “You want to abolish ICE! Who is going to deport the criminal aliens from the country?

El-Sayed replied, “You and I both know that we’ve long before we ever had ICE, we had INS. We were able to enforce our immigration policies without shooting people in the face.”

Watters snapped, “That’s a dodge! INS did the same thing as ICE!”

He asked the host, “Shooting people in the back of the head?”

As the interview went on, the Fox News host smirked and said, “Some of the stuff you said is just straight up wacky!”

El-Sayed snapped back, “We have a president of the United States who cares more about the drapes in a ballroom that shouldn’t be built than he cares about the war he just got us into. That seems to be a little wacky!
