Jesse Watters’ Family Photo Has Fans Talking About His Vacation

Fox News personality Jesse Watters is drawing backlash from certain viewers following the circulation of a family photo online.
Watters, who hosts Jesse Watters Primetime and co-hosts The Five, had previously informed his audience he would be away “on assignment.”
However, a social media post from his wife, Emma Watters, raised questions about how at least some of his time off was being spent. It comes as Watters was slammed for ‘lying’ on show as his wife exposed him.
On Tuesday, August 11, Emma shared a family snapshot featuring Watters with her, his twin daughters Sophie and Ellie from his first marriage, and their children together, Jesse Jr. and Georgina. The timing followed earlier accusations that Watters had ‘mommy issues’ after making a weird joke live on air.
The photo was captioned “LIV,” referencing the LIV Golf Invitational Series tournament taking place in Bedminster, New Jersey, reports the Mirror US.
Several viewers immediately questioned whether Watters had disguised a family getaway as a work trip. “Jesse you always say your [sic] on a big assignment! Why can’t you just say your [sic] going on vacation with your family!” one commenter posted.
Another remarked, “Jesse, you take more vacations than the Senate.
“Jesse another night off Monday night? ? ? ?” a third viewer questioned.
Other commenters zeroed in on Watters’ initial explanation.
“Ahhh now I know why your husband wasn’t at work! He said it was an assignment…” one follower observed.

“Thought you said you were on assignment? Not that you lying is a surprise,” another person responded. Another viewer commented, “Jesse just say you’re going on vacation instead of an assignment, it makes it look so stupid, either that or you think you’re fooling millions and you’re not.”
“This looks like yet another vacation and definitely not an assignment, but okay,” another remarked.
The backlash followed earlier viewer complaints about The Five after Fox News senior foreign policy correspondent Gillian Turner stepped in during Watters’ time off last week. Turner also faced strong criticism from audience members who expressed a preference for Watters in his regular slot.
“Gillian is a terrible substitute on this show! ! ! Why do you continue to let her? She does not do well on any show. Especially this one. Please listen to your viewers,” one X user posted.
Another commented, “Gillian awful Turner on The Five. Switching channel.”
“No one wants to see or hear Gillian Turner on The Five. She’s a liberal and is worse than Jessica (believe it or not) because she pretends she’s a moderate. She’s a pathetic phony,” another viewer stated.
“Oh God! Gillian Turner @GillianHTurner is on @TheFive. Changing the channel,” yet another viewer posted. Meanwhile, Watters was accused of having ‘mommy issues’ after on-air comments resurfaced.
