A RATHER controversial ex Dancing With The Stars pro has shown off her ‘jarring’ and ‘unrecognizable’ new appearance.

Cheryl Burke, 41, has announced she is to return to the iconic show as a guest judge.

“Guys, secret is out. This one was a hard one for me to keep from you.

“But I’ll be back in the ballroom next week as a guest judge for Halloween night,” she revealed.

She added how it’s “so surreal” that she’ll be returning after three years since she last danced on the show.

In the video where she announced her DWTS return, Cheryl could be seen looking different.

She rocked her brunette locks in a short choppy bob with a blunt full fringe.

Her face looked much more slender than it used to, and she appeared slimmer overall.

Reacting to Cheryl’s “new look,” one person said on Reddit, “I don’t recognize her omg.”

A second penned, “The change in appearance is VERY jarring.”

“I couldn’t even pay attention to her cause the whole time all I was thinking was is she okay? Like genuinely is something wrong with her to look that way or is it just face work or ozempic?? Something is not right,” said a third.

“I wouldn’t have recognized her if she was standing 5 feet in front of me. What happened? That is bizarre,” penned a fourth.

While a fifth said, “Wtf……..scary. Unrecognizable.”

And a sixth added, “I’m surprised DWTS invited her back. Cheryl has said some not so nice things on her podcast about the show.”

CONTROVERSIAL COMMENTS

Last year, Cheryl slated the show when she slammed the judges – which is why some fans think her return is slightly odd.

In December 2024, Cheryl critiqued judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, saying they should “educate themselves.”

Back in June, Cheryl shared a post about prioritizing mental health and also responded to criticism about her looks since her recent weight loss.

“The noise that was never yours to carry. Online Criticism: ‘You look so different. Did she get work done? You were better before…’ Truth: People project. Let them. You’re allowed to evolve,” she penned alongside a selfie.

She added, “There comes a moment when you realize the loudest voice in the room doesn’t always speak the truth.

“The opinions. The projections. The pressure. You don’t have to carry any of it…”

She went on, “Choosing your peace isn’t selfish — it’s sacred.

“You were never meant to live your life on someone else’s volume setting…”
