A youth basketball game turned ugly after a fight broke out and parents rushed in.

Basketball is a contact sport, and the hardwood can be highly combustible, even when kids are involved. What you don’t expect is to see a father attacking a coach after the latter tries to step in.

Of course, life can be a highlight reel of stuff you don’t see every day. And the internet is always around to store such moments.

The video below shows two youth teams having a normal scrimmage before one player suddenly starts swinging. Parents and coaches jump in to calm them down before one man, presumably a father, comes out of nowhere and wipes a coach out with a brutal tackle.

People Mostly Said the Same Thing In The Comments

The clip attracted loads of comments, with folks mostly claiming that the kid who started the fight hasn’t been treated to a proper role model.

“If the parents are like that, it makes sense why kid acted in that way,” someone wrote.

“Dad gets an assault charge plain and simple kids not in danger. Actually the dads ass is probably why the kid acts like that,” another agreed.

“The dad that tackled the coach needs to be taken outside and dealt with. I see why his son is out of control,” someone else recommended.

“Don’t touch no one’s else kids or you will get slam to the floor, let the kids to their thing and don’t bother to get into kids fight,” one user warned.

The incident was reminiscent of one from a few years ago when a referee speared a father after the latter attacked him during a game.

Parents aren’t always the most rational people when it comes to their kids, even though they’re supposed to be.
