The war of words between LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith has reached a new level- one that could land them in the boxing ring.
TMZ Sports reports that Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman actively seeks investors to organize a bout between the NBA superstar and the ESPN analyst. While the idea might sound far-fetched, Feldman has already contacted potential backers, including sources in Saudi Arabia, to make it happen.
James and Smith have been publicly sparring since their courtside confrontation at a Lakers game earlier this month. The feud escalated when LeBron trolled Smith by posting old training videos, prompting Smith to fire back on his show, claiming he wouldn’t hesitate to retaliate if LeBron put his hands on him. Now, Feldman sees an opportunity to settle the dispute in the ring.

Feldman, known for organizing celebrity fights, wasted no time drafting an offer. “Let’s make it official,” he said, making it clear he was serious about bringing LeBron and Smith into the squared circle. However, there’s one major roadblock: Smith himself.
The sports commentator admitted on air that James would “kick his ass” in a fight, likely keeping him out of the ring.

Neither James nor Smith needs the payday, as both are among the highest earners in their respective fields. But given their recent tensions, some fans believe they might entertain the idea for the spectacle alone. Despite the buzz, no formal agreement has been made, and the likelihood of either party accepting remains slim.
While a LeBron James vs. Stephen A. fight would undoubtedly break the internet, for now, the feud remains confined to verbal jabs and social media trolling. Whether it escalates further or eventually cools down, one thing is sure- this rivalry isn’t dying anytime soon.
