“I’m not shy about this at all,” Cunningham said. “I grew up in Missouri. Missouri was like the No. 3 party school. Yeah, I went through the huge party stage. I’ve been with guys. But now that I’m actually where I’m at now today, my No. 1 thing is I want someone to push me towards Christ.”
“If you’re not about it, and you don’t talk about it, then don’t even talk to me,” Cunningham added. “I have my blinders on. I still have a bunch of guy friends. I’m open to ideas and whatnot. But my No. 1 thing is I want you to lead our house, lead me, lead our future kids to serve and love a good, good God.”
Cunningham, meanwhile, is having a nice year on the court. She’s averaging 9.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, while shooting 43.7 percent from the 3-point line.
The Fever have been playing very well as of late, looking like a true contender in the WNBA.
