It hasn’t gone down all that well.

Turning Point USA has revealed the lineup for its alternate Super Bowl Halftime Show, and fans aren’t all on board.

The nonprofit organization revealed in October that it planned to host an “All-American Halftime Show.”

TPUSA’s decision was taken as a means of opposing the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny.

The NFL’s announcement was indeed controversial, drawing widespread criticism. Apart from complaints regarding the Puerto Rican’s lack of an English library, fans and conservatives did not appreciate his criticism of President Donald Trump.

Critics’ worst fears are all but confirmed by reports that the artist is set to wear a dress.

However, Turning Point has presented fans with another option. They let them know how to tune in long before revealing the lineup on Monday.

An announcement from the organization unveiled Kid Rock as the headline act. Gabby Barrett, Lee Brice, and Brantley Gilbert are also set to perform.

“The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said.

He added:

“We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game. These performers will deliver exactly that, and we can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too.”

Well… plenty of fans were left underwhelmed.

“Like this if you would need to google three of those four headlines to know who they are,” one wrote.

“I thought we were going to get Creed and actual country singers🤔,” said another.

“Kid Rock, the guy who sang about pimping, doing cocaine and every other kind of debauchery is your law and order republican guy,” someone else wrote.

“At least you guys are consistent. Consistently hypocritical that is.”

“Funny that they could only get washed-up artists to perform,” one comment read.

“This is the best you can do? A crackhead and some Nonlisted folks?” a user asked.
