MAURA Higgins has broken her silence on the romance rumours flooding TikTok, hoping she and her US Traitors co-star Rob Rausch get together.

The Love Island star, 35, appears to have undeniable chemistry with co-star Rob, 27, on the American version of the hit BBC show – and it has not gone unnoticed by fans.

Appearing on Andy Cohen‘s Watch What Happens Live, Maura addressed the romance rumours but chose her words very carefully.

Directly acknowledging the rumours, Andy asked her: “The internet wants you and Rob to get together, and?”

Maura nodded and slightly smiled, responding: “Yeah I saw, there’s a lot of videos on TikTok at the moment.”

Pushing, Andy continued: “And what do you think?”

Keeping it vague, Maura awkwardly replied: “I mean, you’ll have to watch the show to see if that happened.”

The audience and fellow guests gasped, as Maura sat quietly and refused to give anything else away.

Though Maura didn’t confirm that the rumours are true, she also didn’t deny them.

Rob was a contestant on Love Island USA in 2023, and he then returned in 2024.

He met Maura while filming the show as she hosts the Aftersun spin-off show for the US series.

And it’s also not the first time Maura has hinted that there could be more than just chemistry between her and Rob.

While creating social media content for Page Six, Maura was asked which of her Traitors co-stars she’d like to bring to the hideaway if she had to pick one.

The hideaway is a private area on Love Island designed for hookups and private chats.

Maura told them: “Ermm, I would probably say Rob. We’re both from Love Island!”

This sent fans into a frenzy in the post’s comments section, where they immediately started shipping the couple.

“We love Rob and we love Maura. So, we love Maura and Rob together,” said one user.

Another commented: “Okay but when are Maura and Rob going to confirm their relationship? They are adorable around each other.”
