Horrifying New Info Released From Sh00ting Of Eric Bieniemy’s Wife By Her Own Son
This is an awful situation.
New details have emerged about the shooting at the home of a Kansas City Chiefs coach. Mia Bieniemy called 911 herself after being shot twice by her son. Police carried her out of the Virginia house on Sunday evening.
Eric Bieniemy left the team’s training camp to be with his wife. She required surgery after the attack and still has bullet fragments inside her body.

Mia was shot in the left forearm and shoulder. The bullet traveled across her chest. She remains in stable condition in a hospital after the operation.
Her 27-year-old son Elijah faces charges of malicious wounding, use of a firearm in a felony, and discharging a firearm inside a dwelling. He is being held without bond. His first hearing is set for August 31.
Neighbors reported hearing screams around the time of the gunshots. They described Elijah as quiet and not someone they associated with trouble. Video shows him in handcuffs beside a sheriff’s vehicle.
Sheriff Mike Chapman confirmed that Mia placed the 911 call herself. Investigators are still determining the full sequence of events that led to the shooting.
“She had called in – the mother, who we know – had called in the shooting, and it was involving the son, so that’s where we’re at right now,” Chapman said.
“We have to go through an entire investigation to find out exactly where everybody was, what everybody did, what prompted it, how it all transpired, but we’re investigating right now.”

The Chiefs excused Bieniemy indefinitely from his duties as offensive coordinator. He had only recently returned to the organization after previous stops with the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears.
Head coach Andy Reid offered an emotional response on Monday.
“Our hearts go out to Eric Bieniemy and his family,” Reid said. “She’s a saint, one of God’s good blessings. But things happen.”
Reid added that the team will see how the situation develops and focus on real life first. Travis Kelce had previously welcomed Bieniemy’s return, calling him one of his favorite coaches.
