The New York Giants took former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart with the No. 25 pick in the NFL Draft after trading up with the Houston Texans.

The Giants were linked to Dart, but no one expected them to use their third overall pick for him. The son of Giants general manager Joe Schoen fueled speculation this week that the organization would draft a quarterback after he reportedly shared a video of Dart on social media.

He already knew what would happen, and it certainly played out that way.

As soon as his name was called, Jaxson Dart and his family went nuts as they elected to have a draft party at their home.

His mom was the first person to hug him, and social media immediately fell in love with her looks.

Soon afterward, social media detectives found her Instagram page, which has just above 1,100 followers.

As for her son, Dart was No. 3 in the nation with 4,279 passing yards last season, an Ole Miss single-season record.

He became only the third Ole Miss quarterback selected in the first round, joining all-time legends Archie Manning in 1971 and Eli Manning in 2004.

Additionally, Jaxson Dart is the fourth Ole Miss QB selected in the seven-round era since 1994.

Jaxson Dart’s Mom Is Successful In Her Own Right

Jaxson Dart’s mom is Kara Dart.

She has also sprung into fame after being shown during the NFL Draft.

She used to work for the retail company Nordstrom and now runs a fitness-based program. She documents her fitness constantly on her Instagram page. The sheer size of her arms shows that she takes it seriously.

Kara and her husband, Brandon, played key roles in shaping Jaxson as an athlete and person.

Brandon, a former safety for Utah, taught Jaxson about football from an early age, while Kara helped him stay confident during his tough transition from USC to Ole Miss.
