Violent futsal incident from Brazil goes viral
Footage from a women’s futsal match in Brazil has gone viral after a shocking sequence of violence.
According to a post shared on X, the incident took place during Wednesday’s women’s futsal championship in Ceará. RDJ Sport was playing RSN (As Resenhas) when the altercation unfolded during the second half.
The video shows an RSN player losing possession before sliding into an opponent with a hard tackle. After both players hit the court, the RSN player got up and kicked her floored opponent twice in the head.

Violent Futsal Incident Quickly Overshadows Match

The clip quickly spread on X, where users called for the severest of punishments.
“Kicking a person in the head who’s down in that condition should be attempted murder,” one suggested.
Another added, “If this isn’t attempted murder, then what is it?! She has to be expelled from the sport and thrown in jail.”
“I hope you left the game in handcuffs!” said a third. “The least! Then banned from continuing to play ball!”
The incident has already resulted in significant punishment.
According to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, the Liga Desportiva do Eusébio suspended the player from all league-organized competitions for the next five years.
The City of Eusébio also condemned the violence and said the injured player received immediate medical attention following the match.
