New details emerge about Jed York’s controversial arrest.
New bodycam footage shows Jed York’s arrest in East Palestine, Ohio. Police released the video to the Daily Mail. The sting happened at 9:35 a.m. on August 23.
York arrived at Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community. Officers pulled him from a rental car. He still wore a wedding ring. He had on a Yankees shirt, basketball shorts and tennis shoes.
An officer asked what he was doing there. York said, “Just driving.” Asked if he was meeting anyone, he said, “No.” Asked if he was from the area, he said, “Yeah.”

Court papers say York answered an undercover ad. Police allege he arranged to pay $140. Officers found $160 in cash in the car. They also found two phones. One lock screen showed his two sons.
The arresting cops did not know who he was.
One said, “He’s a real estate guy, he’s got all the money.”
York had told them he was from Chicago and worked in real estate.
Prosecutors dropped the original prostitution charge. They amended it to disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools. York pleaded no contest Monday. He received one day in jail with credit for time served. He paid a $1,150 fine and finished an online course.
He posted a $5,000 bond after booking at Columbiana County Jail. He was born 20 miles away in Youngstown.
Jed York Faces NFL Review After Ohio Arrest

The NFL said it is aware of the matter. The league will review it under the personal conduct policy.
The 49ers said the legal matter is resolved. The team will not comment further. York filed for divorce from Danielle in May. They have two sons and plan joint custody.
Residents near the park already sounded off. They pushed back on the narrative they claim police are trying to create about their neighborhood.
York is worth an estimated $500 million. Besides the 49ers, he also co-owns Leeds United and Rangers.
