The France captain briefly shared an Instagram Story showing a blonde woman posing in his France No. 10 kit inside what appeared to be a hotel room.
The post was deleted shortly after it went live, but screenshots quickly spread across social media.

The photo immediately fueled speculation that Mbappe uploaded it by mistake before realizing it was public. Fans also noticed how quickly the Story disappeared.

Several media outlets have identified the woman in the photo as Spanish actress Ester Exposito. The pair have previously been linked by tabloid speculation after being seen at some of the same events, though neither has publicly confirmed a relationship.
Reports surrounding the deleted Story largely suggest fans believe the upload was accidental before Mbappe removed it. The French star has not publicly addressed the viral post.
The timing also comes shortly after Mbappe captained France in the 3rd-place clash at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Les Bleus lost 6-4 to England in an entertaining playoff.
Whether the Story was intentional or not is unknown. But the forward was too late in deleting it.
