Michael Jordan can hold a grudge, and so can Charles Barkley. It doesn’t look like Charles Barkley’s long-running feud with Michael Jordan will be ending anytime soon.
The two were once rivals on the court and close friends off of it, but things would change after Barkley criticized Jordan’s moves as the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats (now the Hornets).
“And what I said, I think that he don’t have enough people around him that are gonna tell him, ‘No,’” Barkley said on “60 Minutes” on Sunday night. “And he got really offended, and we haven’t spoken.”
That was well over 10 years ago and the two of them have still not made up.
“I’m gonna do my job,” he said. “Because I have zero credibility if I criticize other people in the same boat and not criticize my best friend.”
Barkley was then asked if he ever thought of calling Jordan to clear the air.
“I got an ego too, Jon. You can’t be great at something ― that doesn’t give you a right to be a jerk,” he said.
“Do you think you’ll resolve this eventually?” Wertheim pressed.
“He got my number,” Barkley said.

Jordan is reportedly on the verge of selling his majority stake in the Hornets, so maybe something will change in the near future.
Unlike Barkley who has spoken about their strained relationship these past few years, Jordan has not acknowledged him once. Back in February 2022 at the NBA All-Star Game, the NBA honored its 75th-anniversary team.
Jordan was the final player introduced, saving the best for last, and he strolled through the crowd of NBA legends handing out handshakes and hugs to seemingly everyone in sight. Everyone except for Barkley, who stood there awkwardly as he watched Jordan.

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is not the most popular guy on TV. That much was apparent while he was calling the Wild Card game between the Broncos and Bills for CBS on Sunday.
Romo, who has done very little to hide how much he admires Buffalo QB Josh Allen, had some praise for the MVP favorite while he was attempting to take his team to the Divisional Round.
Some fans felt like he was being overly gracious, while some simply couldn’t stand him talking in general.
“STFU AGAIN ROMO!!!!!!!!! I’M TIRED OF YOUR BILLS AND CHIEFS GLAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU’RE SICKENING ASF!!!!!!!!!!” an X user wrote.
“Can we start a petition to ban Romo from calling games,” another asked.
“Can Tony Romo get off his kneees for Josh Allen?” someone else chimed in.
“Tv muted when romo starts talking,” a fan claimed.
Tony Romo’s Partner Reached Impressive Milestone
While Romo was getting slammed, his broadcast colleague touched an impressive milestone.
Jim Nantz has been with CBS for over 40 years and reached his 500th game with the network calling Sunday’s fixture.
Nantz and Romo have been working together for seven of those 40 years.
