Angel Reese’s frustration quickly caught fire online, with many fans chiming in to either back her up or share their own travel horror stories. Known for speaking her mind both on and off the court, Reese didn’t hold back as she called out the poor service she experienced.
Despite the rough airport ordeal, Reese’s stock continues to rise after her strong showing in the Unrivaled tournament.
Whether dominating the boards or voicing her opinions, she’s becoming one of the most recognizable faces in women’s basketball — and clearly, she’s not afraid to call things as she sees them.
WNBA and Unrivaled star Angel Reese didn’t receive the best treatment during a recent stop at an airport and took to social media to complain about it.
Reese put in an impressive performance for her Unrivaled team, Rose BC, on Friday night, registering 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 71-63 win, although one of those boards was apparently debatable as her teammate Kahleah Cooper accused her of stealing “1 of my rebounds!”
It appears Reese has left Miami, where the tournament is being held, as she made it clear she was unhappy with her treatment at the city’s airport.
“Miami might be the worst airport with the worst customer service EVER,” the forward wrote.

Reese didn’t shed any light on where she was going or what happened exactly, but she was definitely upset, and several users agreed with her assessment.
Angel Reese Hoping Unrivaled Format Helps Her Game
Meanwhile, the former LSU star is gearing up for her second season in the WNBA after a solid rookie campaign with the Chicago Sky. She averaged a double-double, scoring 13.6 points and grabbing 13.1 rebounds a game. However, the Sky missed out on the playoffs and have since replaced their head coach.
Reese said she hoped that playing three-on-three basketball in Unrivaled would help her unlock certain parts of her game before the start of the tournament.
“3-on-3 is something that I love to do, I haven’t been able to play competitively but I think I can work on some of my individual skills because 3-on-3 exposes everything,” she said. “So I’m excited for it.”
