Patrick & Brittany Mahomes Score Big Win Ahead Of Training Camp

Patrick Mahomes has one more stop to make before training camp officially begins, and it has nothing to do with football.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback reports to camp at Missouri Western State University on July 24, capping off an eventful offseason spent rehabbing from a torn ACL and celebrating a record-breaking new contract. Before heading into camp, though, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, carved out time for a cause that hits close to home for their family.

The couple’s foundation, 15 and the Mahomies, partnered once again with FARE, Food Allergy Research & Education, for a back-to-school event in Kansas City this week. Patrick and Brittany attended alongside their son Bronze, mingling with families and taking part in the day’s activities rather than just posing for photos and leaving.
“Families living with food allergies were provided practical resources, education, and support,” his foundation and FARE wrote on Instagram. “The annual event aims to expand food allergy education and resources across the Kansas City community.
“Highlights included… Top 9 allergen-free school lunch demonstration, Ask-the-Expert panel, A Kids’ Fun Zone, Health resources for families navigating food allergy, Kids received an adidas backpack; t-shirt and snack bag.”
The cause carries personal weight for the Mahomes family. Both of their older children, Sterling and Bronze, have dealt with food allergies, including a frightening incident when Bronze had a severe reaction to peanut powder as an infant that required an emergency room visit. Their advocacy work has continued steadily since, even as Patrick’s football calendar stays packed.

The appearance capped off a busy stretch for the couple following Patrick’s record $500 million-plus contract extension in June, which made him the highest-paid player in NFL history. Mahomes has also continued working his way back from the torn ACL and LCL that ended his 2025 season, with earlier reports showing him throwing again roughly 100 days after surgery as he pushes toward a Week 1 return.
Between rehab and family commitments, Mahomes has still made time for major life moments around him this summer, including attending Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding and skipping at least one teammate’s celebration to stay focused on his own recovery and business interests, including the couple’s growing stake in the Kansas City Current.
According to FARE, roughly one in 13 children in the U.S. lives with a food allergy, underscoring why the Mahomes family’s continued involvement resonates with so many families in the Kansas City area.
With camp now just a day away, all eyes shift back to the football field, where Mahomes will look to prove he’s ready for Week 1 after a long and eventful offseason.
