Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Sophia Laufer is quickly becoming a fan favorite in the NFL community.

Sophia had an extensive background in dance before auditioning for “America’s Sweethearts.” She was a member of her high school’s dance team and cheerleading squad before graduating at the age of 17.

Though it’s not easy to make the Cowboys’ cheerleading squad at 18 years old, Sophia knew it was something she wanted to do. With that said, she accomplished that goal prior to the start of the 2022 season.

“I decided to audition for DCC because I wanted to continue dancing and DCC is the most iconic and well-known professional dance team there is,” Laufer said. “After my senior year in high school, the DCC recruiter reached out to me on my social media, and after talking to her, I was ready to make my dream of becoming a DCC a reality. I look up to all the past and present DCCs and I am honored to be a part of this team and call them my teammates. I love performing at AT&T stadium for all of the Cowboy’s fans, it is a dream come true!”

Throughout the 2024 season, Sophia posted a ton of Cowboys content on her social media pages.

As of this April, she’s currently up to 148,000 followers on Instagram.

Sophia has been quite busy this NFL offseason. Back in March, she planned her sister’s bachelorette party in Cabo.

The California native shared plenty of photos and videos from her sister’s party. One in particular though went viral.

A photo of Sophia wearing a black swimsuit legitimately left Cowboys fans speechless.

“Last sail before the veil,” she wrote for her caption.

Prior to her third season in Dallas, the talented cheerleader had a beautiful message for her teammates.

“I couldn’t be more lucky to have the best family and support system in the world,” she wrote. “Having you here for these special moments, makes my heart SO happy! I will cherish these memories forever.”

It’s unclear if Sophia will be back with the Cowboys for the 2025 season.
