While the Washington Commanders were taking on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Quinn would be a part of the action.
While rushing out of the pocket, backup quarterback Marcus Mariota, who took over for injured Jayden Daniels, got pushed to the sidelines and went helmet-first into Quinn’s face and body.
The head coach fell straight back and smacked his head on the ground.
Dan Quinn was left a bloody mess as a result.
As of this writing, the Commanders held a 20-10 halftime lead over the Raiders.
Marcus Mariota has completed 9 of 1 passes for 85 yards. However, he does have a fumble lost in this game.
He made up for it with a 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Dan Quinn has his team playing inspired football despite the franchise quarterback being out. The Commanders are trying to improve their record above .500.
