Confidence is good, but overconfidence is not. And the age-old saying just hit Blake Griffin in the most brutal manner. The former Los Angeles Clippers star is regarded as one of the best NBA talents. Showing compassion, Matt Barnes lashed out at the Clippers’ front office for doing Griffin dirty. But after his latest incident with Taylor Rooks, not many will sympathize with Griffin.
Griffin has been quite a known voice in the NBA circuit. He has regularly put out his opinions on the latest NBA happenings. Unfortunately, one of his recently directed jokes made things quite awkward. During an episode of ‘NBA on Prime,’ the 36-year-old was having a good time with Dirk Nowitzki, Rooks, and Steve Nash.
At one point, the conversation shifted to how the State Farm Arena will be serving the famous LouWill Lemon Pepper BBQ and traditional lemon pepper wings on March 16. Following the discussion, Rooks decided to share one of her first strip club experiences.
She said, “I am from Georgia, that was my first strip club experience. Good times. … You see some things in there that make you say wow.”
The 6x NBA All-Star immediately replied, “Let’s do a demo.”
Surely, while the 2011 Rookie of the Year meant it in good humor, fans were not ready to take it lightly.
