Fans have speculated for months about Stefon Diggs and his alleged paternity drama. The drama has followed Cardi B, which has caused her to address messy rumors about the New England Patriots’ wide receiver.

In September, Cardi B announced the exciting news that she and Stefon Diggs are having their first child together. A day after the couple’s pregnancy announcement, news broke that Diggs was facing a legal battle with Aileen Lopera, who is a model known as Lord Gisselle.

Lopera listed the New England Patriots star as the “parent” of the then-unborn child and requested that the NFL athlete cover all her pregnancy/birth expenses as well as her attorney’s fees.

Well, it is clear that she knew who the father was the entire time.

The results of a paternity test proved that Cardi B’s boyfriend, NFL player Stefon Diggs, is the father of model Aileen Lopera’s daughter.

“We can confirm that Mr. Diggs is the father,” Lopera’s lawyer, Tamar Arminak, said in a statement to Us Weekly.

“We are hopeful that he will meaningfully contribute to the child’s life and coparent with our client, who has had to do everything on her own thus far.”

Lopera has previously requested legal and physical custody of her baby. She gave birth in April and named her Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.
