Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham may have torn up her knee, but nothing is going to tear down her sense of fun.
In a new video on her TikTok videos, Cunningham did a dance and lip sync while sporting a tiny swimsuit and the knee brace she’s wearing while recovering from her injury. The video went viral over Labor Day weekend as she sang Renee Rapp’s song “I Think I Like You Better When You’re Gone.”
Unfortunately, the video is not currently available on her TikTok account and was likely taken down. It was, however, copied and shared across social media so you can still enjoy it to your heart’s content:
Some fans took it as a sign that Cunningham is recovering from her injury nicely while others are just always excited to see her dancing:
“So she recovered. Well then, thats good,” one user wrote on X.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Sophie goddamn Cunningham,” wrote another.
“I’ve lived to see Sophie Cunningham singing Reneé Rapp omg,” a third wrote.

Sophie and the Fever
Sophie Cunningham emerged as a fan favorite early in the season by serving as an “enforcer” in games where opponents were being overly physical against her teammate, Caitlin Clark. She was more than just an on-court presence though.
Over 30 games she received 13 starts and averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. She had her first double-double of the season in a July win over the Atlanta Dream, scoring 16 points while adding 10 rebounds.
Unfortunately, the injury she suffered in Indiana’s August 17 win over the Connecticut Sun ended her season prematurely.
The team is 21-19 with four games to go and two wins ahead of the Los Angeles Sparks for the coveted final playoff spot. And the Fever are still enduring all of it without Clark either.
