Detroit Lions DC Gets Exposed For His Wild Social Media Activity — “Focused On The Wrong A**” [PHOTO]
His defense isn’t the only thing under a microscope.
Detroit’s defense has given fans plenty to complain about over the past two weeks. The Lions have allowed 71 combined points in losses that exposed real problems under defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard. And analysts are already questioning whether he’s the right man for the job.
Sheppard’s Instagram presence hasn’t helped his case with critics either.
His bio already leans into the joke, listing himself as a “Food Connoisseur” alongside his coaching credentials. So, of course, have poked fun at his food-heavy posting habits for months.
This week, though, his activity on the app took an entirely different turn.
A Single Like Sparked The Comparison

A screenshot circulating online showed Sheppard had liked a bikini photo posted by a model with no clear connection to football.
The post spread fast among Lions fans already frustrated with his defensive play-calling. And the comparison to Sherrone Moore wrote itself almost immediately.
“Lions DC is focused on the wrong a**,” someone claimed after a Detroit supporter compared Sheppard to Moore.

Moore, Michigan’s former head coach, was fired last December over an inappropriate relationship with a staff member, and reports soon after revealed he’d also been liking and messaging multiple other women on Instagram for years.
Sheppard’s single like doesn’t come close to that territory, but the joke stuck regardless.
“He single mane…sheesh lol,” one fan wrote in his defense.
“Now if he was liking lil boys pics it would be a issue yall weird,” another added, pushing back on anyone treating the like as a real problem.
Sheppard’s Bigger Issue Remains On The Field

Detroit’s defense has struggled badly through two weeks, needing overtime to escape New Orleans 31-30 before getting blown out 41-31 by Buffalo. It’s given up a combined 915 yards through two games.
Head coach Dan Campbell hasn’t held back either. He unleashed an expletive-laced halftime rant about penalties before separately admitting after the game that the defense had given up “too many explosives.”
Sheppard, entering his second season as coordinator after replacing Aaron Glenn, now faces real pressure to turn things around before the criticism grows louder.
Given how much scrutiny he’s already facing over play-calling, an Instagram like was always going to become a punchline the moment fans spotted it.
