Caitlin Clark is hyped for the 2026 NFL season, and she made sure Kansas City Chiefs fans hear it loud and clear.
The Indiana Fever star took to X on Monday morning to wish the Chiefs luck before their Monday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos. Clark shared her excitement with a sweet text.
“WE ARE BACK!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!! (Chiefs),” Clark wrote, while tagging the team and adding a few heart emojis.
Clark has always been open about loving football, but this shoutout gave Chiefs fans yet another reason to love her.

One fan welcomed Clark into Chiefs kingdom with a message that read, “I didn’t even know you was part of the kingdom you so tuff queen.”
Another fan wrote, “That’s why you’re my favorite WNBA player of all time, Go Chiefs.”
A third fan brought Travis Kelce into the conversation. “Please tell me Coach Reid, and Travis Kelce will be rocking the CC1s,” the fan wrote.
Clark had even more reason to celebrate after the Chiefs answered her good-luck message with a win.
Kansas City beat Denver 31-10 in Week 1. The Chiefs entered the game looking for revenge after the Broncos beat them twice last season and had won three straight games against them, going back to week 18 of 2024.
Patrick Mahomes returned from last season’s serious knee injury and finished with 184 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
Kenneth Walker III led the way on the ground. The reigning Super Bowl MVP carried the ball 23 times for 173 yards and one touchdown. He even caught Mahomes’ second touchdown pass, which pretty much sealed the win early in the fourth quarter.
The Chiefs haven’t really had a strong rushing attack since Mahomes took over, they haven’t even finished in the top 15 in rushing offense that whole time.
But with Walker now leading the backfield, Clark may have plenty more reasons to cheer for the Chiefs this season.
