Fans and colleagues quickly flooded social media with excitement, applauding Erin Andrews for taking on a new role outside of the football field. Known for her polished reporting style and approachable personality, Andrews seems like a natural fit for the TODAY show’s vibrant morning energy. Her guest hosting spot on Jenna and Friends is expected to bring a fresh sports-savvy twist to the broadcast. With her first show set for May 12, viewers are eager to see Andrews show off a different side of her broadcasting skills — one that could open even more doors for her in the future.
Congratulations are pouring in for veteran NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews this weekend.
Andrews, who has covered the NFL on FOX for more than a decade, is a very busy woman during football season. However, during the offseason, Andrews has some time on her hands, at least when it comes to doing TV. She’ll be filling some of that time soon enough, though.
The veteran NFL sideline reporter has announced that she will be guest hosting “Jenna and Friends” on the TODAY show next week. Her first show will be May 12.
“We can’t wait to spend the week with you,” the show announced on Instagram.

Erin Andrews is really excited for the opportunity, too. She won’t be quitting her day job, of course, but perhaps a full-time gig in morning television is something that could be eyed in the future for the prominent NFL sideline reporter.
“Guuuuuuuuys!!!! It’s gonna be a time!!!!!” she wrote on Instagram in reaction to the announcement.
The show is the fourth hour of NBC’s “TODAY” show. Jenna has been shuffling through guest hosts in recent weeks. Fans are clearly very excited to see Andrews being brought onto the show for the week of May 12.
