Amy Luciani spoke through tears about serious issues in her relationship with Dwight Howard and a troubling situation affecting their family.

Former NBA star Dwight Howard’s better half shared some emotional videos on social media about their personal life. On March 7, Amy Luciani, also known as Amber Rose Howard, revealed that Child Protective Services visited their house multiple times, claiming that during the most recent visit, authorities took their daughter away.

The couple recently drew attention for their disturbing display of affection, leaving NBA fans shocked and sparking strong reactions online. However, things did not work out so smoothly between the couple; in fact, Amy Luciani filed for divorce in July 2025, just six months after marrying him in January. Luciani revealed that the problems at home were linked to Dwight Howard’s alleged drug addiction, claiming his situation led CPS to take away their daughter.

My Husband put himself in a position that resulted in CPS being called to our house 3X in less than two months, but three days ago, they were called again, and they left with our daughter. However, it turned worse,” Luciani said.

“My stepson is only 12 years old. When CPS and police came to take our daughter, my husband needed an alibi to collaborate a lie. I told him I want no parts. In return, he coached my stepson to lie. I recorded me talking to my stepson.”

The situation turned more severe when it began to affect their children. However, the issues highlighted ongoing tension in their relationship, grabbing attention and concern over the couple’s personal life.

Over the years, Dwight Howard faced several controversies, mainly involving his personal relationships. In 2015, during his time with the Houston Rockets, he touched teammate Isaiah Canaan during a game, which some people misinterpreted and sparked rumors about his sexuality. Howard denied the claims, saying people misunderstood the incident.

After that, in 2018 and 2019, Howard faced harassment claims from Masin Elije, but the lawsuit remained dismissed. In 2021, Stephen Harper filed a sexual assault lawsuit, which Howard denied. The court dropped the case in 2024. Moreover, Royce Reed, the mother of his son, also accused him of child abuse and inappropriate discussions with their son.

These cases kept public attention on Howard’s private life, sparking debates about his relationships and family matters.
