A young Utah man suspected of k%lling the influential conservative activist Charlie Kirk has been caught and arrested.

“We got him,” Utah Governor Spencer Cox told reporters.

The suspect, identified as Tyler Robinson, had “implied that he had committed the murd3r” to a friend, and that person would turn on him and contact the Washington County sheriff’s office on Thursday.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that the sh0oter used a bolt-action rifle that was found in a wooded area after he fled from the building from which he sh0t. Footage of his escape would soon come out, sh0wing him jumping from a roof.

The rifle and three unfired rounds of ammunition found reportedly had a message on them. The Wall Street Journal reported that they were engraved with expressions of transgender and antifascist ideology.

On Thursday, Cox told reporters that investigators had found inscriptions engraved on casings recovered with the rifle, which had a scope mounted on top of it.

The inscriptions included “hey fascist! catch!” and “bella ciao” and “if you read this, you are gay, LMAO.”

Bella ciao means “goodbye, beautiful” in Italian.

Cox was also asked about the messages on the bullets and what they meant.

“Well, I will leave that up to you to interpret what those engravings mean,” he replied to the journalist’s question, adding: “I think the clearest one that says ‘catch fascists’. That’s like catch a ball — ‘catch this’. I think that speaks for itself.”

Utah Governor Spencer Cox said the suspect resides in Southern Utah and confessed to his father. Robinson’s father reported his son to the clergy.

President Donald Trump was the first to announce the suspect’s arrest during an appearance on Fox and Friends.

Cox further added that Robinson had become more political in recent years, and even stated where Robinson had come to dinner and mentioned Kirk’s upcoming appearance.

Charlie Kirk was in the midst of speaking about mass sh0otings when he became a victim of gun violence.

The event was part of Turning Point USA’s “The American Comeback Tour,” and there were more than 3,000 people in attendance who ran for their lives following that single sh0t.
